Index Racer Friendly Races at the Grove @ Maple Grove Raceway

While Maple Grove Raceway will not be running an Index Series program for 2019 that is points earning, we will be having events this year in which Index racers are welcome to participate.

For those who may not know by now, the Pro Dial class originally run with the Northeast Index Series at the Grove will now be part of the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series. The Pro Dial points earning program will be running an abbreviated schedule. These events listed are for the following Index classes: 8.50; 10.0; 11.50; 12.50 and Pro Dial.

 


8.50 Index- $100

Win $1,500; R/U $500; Semi $250; Qtr. $100
8.50 Index- ¼ mile race, all run field
• 400 Pro tree heads up start with seven (7) second auto start. NHRA Pro ladder.
• Deep staging allowed. Courtesy staging advised.
• Minimum weight 2,800 lbs. Vehicles will be scaled at tech and after each winning round of competition.
• Full bodied street appearing cars and light trucks only. No roadsters, altereds or dragsters.
• Lettering on windows permitted. Lettering on car must be approved before competition.
• Full round and square tube chassis prohibited.
• Stock style front suspension mandatory, bolt on aftermarket parts permitted.
• Trans brake & two step permitted.
• Throttle stops/controllers, delay boxes/devices are not permitted in or on the vehicle.
• Aftermarket air or electric automatic shifters or shifting devices are not prohibited. Car must either be shifted by driver or must be a function of OEM stock equipment.
• Mufflers mandatory on all vehicles except turbo charged vehicles, inserts are not mufflers.
• Car & Driver must meet NHRA & track safety rules.

10.0 Index- $55

Win $600; R/U $200; Semi $100; Qtr. $50
10.00 & 11.50 Index- ¼ mile racing, all run field
• 500 Pro tree heads up start with seven (7) second auto start. NHRA Pro Ladder
• Full bodied street appearing cars and light trucks only. No roadsters, altereds or dragsters.
• Deep staging allowed. Courtesy staging advised.
• Finished interiors. Dash, door panels and other trim panels installed with either a full front
bench seat or two front bucket seats mandatory. No gutted interiors.
• Mufflers mandatory except on turbo charged entries, inserts are not mufflers.
• DOT tire maximum size 30×13.5, any size drag radial or slicks maximum size of 29.5×10.5 (non “W”)
• Gasoline, E85, alcohol and diesel permitted. Nitro-methane prohibited.
• Stock frame and back half vehicles permitted. Full round or square tube chassis prohibited.
• Tubbed vehicles permitted.
• Trans brake & two step permitted.
• Throttle stops/controllers, delay boxes/devices are not permitted in or on the vehicle.

•Random pairing, bye for first round of competition will be the best non-red reaction time
pulled from final round of time trials. All other rounds the car with the best non-red reaction time from previous round will be pulled for the bye. Bye will be carried over to the next round if not used.
•Full bodied street appearing cars and light trucks only. No roadsters, altereds or dragsters.
•Finished interiors. Dash, door panels and other trim panels installed with either a full front bench seat or two front bucket seats mandatory. No gutted interiors.
•Mufflers mandatory.
•Any size drag radial, must fit inside wheel well. All tires must be DOT approved
•Gasoline, E85, Alcohol and Diesel permitted. Nitro-methane prohibited.
•Stock frame and back half cars permitted. Full round or square tube chassis prohibited.
•Throttle stops/controllers, delay boxes/devices are not permitted in or on the vehicle.
