New Racer Bonus Program Announced


Earlier this week Maple Grove Raceway officials announced the addition of a new racer bonus cash award program. The program applies to Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series racers towing their race entry with a Dodge Ram.


In making the announcement, VP-GM, Lex Dudas stated “We’re excited to work with Savage61 Dodge-Jeep and Ram to put a bonus program together for our racers.  Tim Profit of Savage61 wanted to expand his company’s involvement at the Grove and we were able to put a plan together to make it happen.”  Tim Profit stated; “We see our customer base is growing with our involvement at Maple Grove Raceway and we wanted a way to reward Ram truck owners for their support and hopefully gain some new customers along the way.”


Racers in Super, Pro and Street Eliminators whom are towing their race car with a Dodge Ram are eligible for the year-end cash awards.  The highest finishing drivers with a Ram truck receive the following cash awards at the Money Trail Awards Banquet in February, 2018.  Super receives $500.00, Pro $500.00, Street $400.00 and Top Bike $400.00


If a Ram truck owner also races a MOPAR branded race car the winners will receive a bonus of $300.00 in Super and $200.00 each in Pro and Street. The total cash available by Savage61 is $2,500.00 for the program.


In order to be eligible, racers must be a member of the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series and must sign an entry form in the bottom of the tower indicating their Ram truck information.

Savage 61

Savage61 came into the Maple Grove Raceway family of sponsors by becoming the Official Car and Truck of Maple Grove, plus supplying staff vehicles and the new Ram Emergency Services vehicle.  Tim Profit and his group were also a strong supporter of the inaugural Mopar Mega Block Party held in conjunction with the Dodge NHRA Nationals at FirstEnergy Stadium, the home of the Reading Fightn Phils. They will do so again for the 2017 event on Thursday, September 21st. Savage61 is also the presenting sponsor of the Mega Mopar Action Series, set for Saturday, June 24th.  At the Mopar event, the top 90 cars in the car show judging will be invited to participate in the Mopar Mega Block Party.



Entering its 55th consecutive season in 2017, Maple Grove Raceway once again will host a full season of championship racing events. The Dodge NHRA Nationals, part of the NHRA Mello Yello Series Countdown to the Championship return to Maple Grove Raceway September 21st -24th.
