#Hello2019Season: New Year, New Racer Incentives & New Partnerships

Goodbye snow and hello sunshine!
Last weekend was the annual Spring Swap Meet at Maple Grove Raceway. We had over 3,500 buyers and 500 plus sellers. The day started a tad on the chilly side but once the sun came out, it was a gorgeous day.
This weekend we officially open the racing gates for the 2019 season starting this Friday. On April 12th, we will be open from 4pm to 5pm for Junior Dragster and Junior Street racers who would like to make license passes. Only those individuals wishing to make license passes in Junior Street and/or Junior Dragster will be allowed on track from 4pm to 5pm. The normal Auto Locator Fast Friday Grudge Night will be run like normal with gates opening at 4pm and racing starting at 5pm.

On Saturday is the first Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series event of the season. Gates will open at 8am, racing starts promptly at 9am and first round of eliminations starts at 2pm. For those racers who have or need to sign up to join the Money Trail program can do so in the base of the Tower.
We are excited to share some of the racer incentive programs that will be implemented in 2019.
The Super 64 is returning again, however, this year the program will run differently. This year the top 64 racers will race at the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series events on August 25th and September 7th until only 16 racers remain. Those remaining 16 racers are invited to compete at the Mopar ExpressLane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil, September 13-15, 2019.
Savage61 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has agreed to continue their partnership with Maple Grove through the 2019 season. That also means the Savage61 Racer Bonus Program is also continuing. Racers in Super, Pro, Sportsman and Top Bike Eliminators who are towing their race entry with a Ram are eligible for the year-end cash awards. The highest finishing drivers with a Ram truck receive the following cash awards at the Money Trail Awards Banquet in February 2020. Super receives $500, Pro $500, Sportsman $400 and Top Bike $400. If a Ram truck owner also races a Mopar branded race car, then he or she also receives an extra bonus of $300 in Super and $200 each in Pro and Sportsman. The total cash available by Savage61 is $2,500 for the program. In order to be eligible, racers must be a current member of the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series in addition to completing the entry form at the bottom of the Tower or in the Money Trail membership packets. All completed forms must be returned to the base of the NAPA Tower.

Maple Grove Raceway is proud to announce a brand new partnership and racer incentive with T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, Inc. This new bonus program offers racers the chance to win big at all Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series events in 2019. At each Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series race in 2019, the winners of Super, Pro and Sportsman are eligible to win an additional amount of money. The winner of Super will be given $100, the winner of Pro will get $75 and the winner of Sportsman will be given $50. T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, Inc. will be mailing the winners a bonus check after each completed Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series event. No bonus money will be awarded or divided up in the event that a Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series is rained out or not completed. The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, Inc. decals must be visible on both sides of the race car. If the racer plans to race more than one (1) car than both cars will need decals. Racers only need to sign up for the bonus program once a year. However, a racer must be signed up prior to first round of eliminations for that day in order to be eligible for the bonus on that race day. A huge thank you to T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, Inc. for joining Maple Grove Raceway in 2019 and supporting the Money Trail Program.

We are excited and ready to kick off the 2019 race season this weekend with the Auto Locator Fast Friday Grudge Night and the first race in the Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series.
